Planner Lily Terms of Service

Effective date: TODO-EFFECTIVE-DATE (set on public launch) · Version: pl-terms-v1

Welcome to Planner Lily. These Terms are the agreement between you and Trevor Anderson, doing business as Planner Lily ("Planner Lily," "we," "us"), which runs the Planner Lily website and apps. We've tried to keep them short and plain. By creating an account or using Planner Lily, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. What Planner Lily does

Planner Lily gives you one place to plan an event: an Event Hub, guest lists, invitations, RSVPs, and a way to share the details with the vendors you choose. This version doesn't handle payments, hold money, or book vendors for you.

2. Who can use it

You need to be at least 18 to create an account. Guests who open an RSVP link don't need an account. They only share the RSVP details the page asks for.

3. Your account

4. Your events, guests, and content

5. Please don't

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

6. Emails and texts

7. Our part

The Planner Lily name, logo, design, and software belong to us. If you send us feedback or ideas, we're free to use them, with no obligation to you.

8. An early version

Planner Lily is new, and we're still building it. We may add, change, or remove features, and we'll give you reasonable notice before removing anything significant you depend on. Please keep your own copy of anything critical to your event.

9. Disclaimers

Planner Lily is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent the law allows, we don't make promises beyond what these Terms say, including that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We aren't responsible for your event itself, for vendors, or for how guests respond.

10. Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for any claim about Planner Lily is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US $100. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

11. If something goes wrong because of your content

If a claim against us comes from content you added or from you breaking these Terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs for that claim.

12. Ending things

You can stop using Planner Lily and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms or puts others at risk. When we can, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to download your event information. Sections 4 (the permission needed to finish removing your content), 7, and 9 through 13 continue to apply after an account is closed.

13. Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho. Before filing anything, please email hello@plannerlily.com so we can try to sort it out together. Any lawsuit must be brought in the state or federal courts in Kootenai County, Idaho, though either of us may use small-claims court if the claim qualifies.

14. Changes to these Terms

If we make a meaningful change, we'll let you know by email or in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using Planner Lily after that, the updated Terms apply.
